Mercedes-Benz Technical Training Subject Matter Expert Launches Online Automotive eLearning, Webinars

Santly Training eLearning for Independent Mercedes-Benz Technicians

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA  (January 11, 2011) — Randy Santly, a luxury automotive expert with more than 28 years of Mercedes-Benz experience and technical training, has launched SantlyTraining.com, an online training resource for Mercedes-Benz Independent technicians and shops.

Says Santly, “These eLearning courses are all created specifically for Mercedes-Benz Independent shops and for the technicians to stay current with the technology that is being used in these complex vehicles.”

Santly, who for eight years, was supervisor and instructor for the Mercedes-Benz ELITE and STARt programs in California and Massachusetts, served as liaison with MBUSA to design and create curriculum for two Mercedes-Benz programs.

SantlyTraining.com features training in Mercedes-Benz, basic wiring, Star wiring & electrical, Controller Area Network (CAN), Local Interconnect Network (LIN) and Intelligent Battery Sensor, Engine Mechanical and Management, FSS & ASSYST maintenance systems, fiber optics and communication systems, SCN coding and flashing, Vario roof systems, SRS, DAS/Xentry, WIS and additional luxury automotive convenience systems.

The three Mercedes-Benz eLearning levels comprise: Level three, basic; Level two, systems training; Level one, advanced.

Certificate courses of one to two hours in length offer affordable automotive eLearning, and training at a technicians convenience and online interactive feedback. Santly says the automotive training provides technicians in MB Independent Shops that repair or specialize in Mercedes-Benz vehicles with the knowledge to better understand how systems function, making diagnosis easier, quicker and more accurate.

Santly has trained more than 700 technicians, consultant and tester for new fuel technology, worked for Mercedes-Benz dealerships for 21 years and for a MB Independent Shop for two years and has completed more than 100 MB factory and eLearning courses.
